Which Accounting System?
Very small companies, for example those with one director/shareholder and just one or two sales invoices per month just don't need the complexity or expense of a dedicated accounting package. I have built a spreadsheet based solution for you which you can have for no charge.
For anything larger than this, if you haven't chosen one yet (or if you're a frustrated Sage user) my recommendation is Xero.
I use Xero for my own accounts and if you get it through A Shaw & Co.as part of your accounting solution it's usually included in the price. I get no reward from Xero for advising you to use the system
