After graduating with a degree in Economics, I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992 at a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants (now part of Vantis plc) becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), by far the largest regulatory body for accountants in the UK.

I subsequently worked in the City for 15 years providing financing solutions for some household names including British Airways, BAA, BP, National Express, P&O, Disney, Miramax and VT Group. Several years ago I decided to get out of the City (not a moment too soon as it turns out) and start doing something a bit more useful and, frankly, a bit more rewarding.

I want to work with clients who have a desire to get on but I also believe it’s important to have fun in the process and to find that elusive work life balance. My door is always open and you'll find me friendly and approachable.  There are no shutters on the premises - I can be available when you need me including evenings and weekends if necessary.

I’m based in Teddington (near Kingston) but I’m just as happy to come and see you as I am to entertain you in my office. The reality is that my clients are pretty well spread out stretching from Penzance in Cornwall up to the West Midlands. I also have clients outside the UK.  Location just isn't a problem these days (I have video conferencing capability if you like that sort of thing) and some seem to quite like having some distance between them and their accountant!

When I'm not working I like nothing more than spending time with my family. When time and the boss allow (which is not very often) I like to go motorbiking in the Desert. But don't worry - mobile reception is pretty good even in the Sahara!
